South High School's Vision

All Denver South High School graduates will be prepared for success in college, career, and life, possessing essential life skills and a sense of civic responsibility to contribute to their global community.

AP Testing
During the weeks of May 6th & May 13th, South students will be participating in Advanced Placement testing. For more information about the testing, please click here. To learn more about receiving your AP test results, click here.

Senior Check-out is May 23
Seniors are expected to be in class to take their finals through Tuesday, May 21. If finals are complete and all make-up work turned in, students are to remain off campus. Please make sure that all textbooks are turned in to the Library ASAP. Graduating seniors will report to the Auditorium on Thursday, May 23, at 1:15 PM to begin Senior Check-out. Graduation rehearsal will immediately follow check-out and last until 4:00 PM.
Seniors who will not walk in May are expected to continue attending classes for the remainder of the semester to earn credit.

9th GRADE ACADEMY
The 9th grade academy will be help at South High School this summer. Students participating in the academy will be asked to come in August 12 - 16 from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. Congratulations to the Class of 2013! Our Seniors have already earned over $5 million in scholarships towards their post-secondary education...and the list is not all in yet!

SCHOOL STORE: LOCATED ON THE FIRST FLOOR... Did you know South has a ‘store’? Students can purchase some school supplies, spirit wear and more! Parents: you are also encouraged to see the store (maybe birthday/holiday gifts?!). Wash Park Recreation Center
Thanks to Wash Park Recreation Center for supporting the DENVER CARD Program through Denver Parks & Rec. Currently the rec center is closed for remodeling through June 2nd. All Denver Card activities for high school studentswill be held outside. Please contact the rec center for a schedule.
