Your Future Center was established by the Denver Scholarship Foundation to help you achieve success during and beyond high school. Your Future Center is staffed by a full-time professional College and Financial Aid Advisor who is employed by the Denver Scholarship Foundation. Your Advisor is working hard to help South High School students get into college and obtain scholarships and other financial aid.

• Coordinate with other college access programs to ensure resources are maximized

In addition to operating Future Centers at 12 DPS high schools, the Denver Scholarship Foundation helps DPS students achieve their college dreams through the following services:
o Scholarships: DSF provides need-based scholarships to DPS graduates at 39 colleges in Colorado.
o College Retention: DSF partners with colleges to provide students with academic and personal guidance to help them graduate.

DSF Scholarship
Our mission is to inspire and empower Denver Public School students to achieve their college dreams.
In addition to providing college and financial aid advice to high school students, we offer need-based scholarships thatcan be used at 39 colleges in Colorado. The colleges include technical and community colleges, state colleges and universities, and private institutions. The scholarship is renewable for up to five years.
Eligibility
To qualify for a DSF Scholarship, students from the Class of 2010 must:
•Graduate from a DPS high school with a 2.0 Grade Point Average;
•Attend a DPS high school for at least two consecutive years before graduation;
•Be eligible to receive Federal Financial Aid.
Scholarship Amounts
DSF Scholarships can be as much as $5,000 annually, depending on the following factors:*
•Your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) – Determined by the federal government after you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);
•The type of college you attend – DSF Scholarships can be used at 39 colleges in Colorado;
•Whether you enroll as a full-time or part-time student.
To receive a DSF Scholarship, students must meet the deadlines below:
April 1: Apply for at least three additional scholarships;
April 1: Complete DSF Scholarship application at www.denverscholarship.org;
April 1: Complete FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov and submit FAFSA Confirmation Page or Student Aid Report to DSF as proof;
May 1: Submit the online College Choice Form at www.denverscholarship.org;
July 15: Complete your financial aid file at your college; notify DSF of changes to your enrollment
Enroll in college within one year of graduating from high school.
