Why Join the PTSA?
- Meet other Parents! PTSA meetings are an excellent forum to find out what’s happening at
- Meetings are held the first Thursday of the month, 6:30-8:00 pm. The principal attends the meeting and provides us with the “State of the School.”
- An active parent community is vital to the success of our students at South High. Your membership is an important way for this organization to support students.
- We support the school’s mission for excellence and work closely with the administration and faculty to improve and enhance the educational program at South.
- All parents, teachers and students are welcome to attend the meetings whether or not you are a member. Can’t attend the meetings? We often need help at school functions and community events that might fit your schedule. Please consider volunteering.

After Prom: After Prom is a party following the Junior/Senior Prom to give students a SAFE, fun place to go. This event is put on and paid for by the parents. It is a completely volunteer-based event, so it happens only if parents choose to become involved each year. The PTSA organizes this but more parental involvement is needed. Many volunteers are needed!!!!!

The school store is located in the main hall, room 125. Volunteers are needed to work in the store Monday-Friday from 7:15-7:45 am.

Fundraising: Supports After Prom. Holiday Wreath
